There are more ways then ever before to get connected: HDTV, digital television (SD), cell phones (3G), PDA’s, personal computers, TiVo, PVR’s, Broadband, Cable, Addressable Advertising, Time-shifted TV and much, much more. What is the Advanced Media Committee?
The Advanced Media Committee of
the National Academy of Television Arts &
Sciences studies the commercial and technological
potential of dvanced media and emerging technology
--make recommendations to the Board of Trustees for
strategy and steering, and to create events which
encourage and facilitate dialogue between industry
professionals.
Who should join the
Advanced Media Committee?
Television professionals,
Internet professionals, videographers, producers,
writers, graphic artists, interactive media
producers, engineers, equipment manufacturers, media
professionals ... people who are interested in the
most current tools, techniques and trends in the
business of modern communication.

Media Committee do?
- We host monthly seminars, focusing on important industry topics, featuring some of the industries top executives, creatives, producers and engineers.
- We host events and floor
tours at prominent industry trade shows like:
CES, NAB, CTAM, NCTA, NATPE, PROMAX, OMMA, Digital
Hollywood, Streaming Media and others.
- We offer access to a
blog and weekly email newsletter

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, whose total dedication is excellence, is a professional service organization for all aspects of the Television, Cable and Satellite industries.
